In January of 2014 I moved to New England. In the 365 days that followed, I spent 82 days on the water and kayaked 34 new and different rivers while working full time and working towards finishing my Masters Degree in only three semesters. During a snow-day from class, I also fulfilled a long-time dream to cross-country ski on a beach, and spent the early parts of spring finally learning to surf.
Being outside is a priority for me, it connects me with what I'm always working to protect and reminds me why I have made connecting people with their environment my life's work.
